Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 to 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki became John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. From 2005 until the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation that Psaki would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to serve as communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until its conclusion.
