Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn, born on August 19 1965, is an American actress. She also works as an actor and producer. She is most famous for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). As a result of her portrayal as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. In the final season of the show Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The series ended August 13 on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other film roles include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, an therapist for speech and family, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV Venture capitalist.
